At the 26th Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFAN), which opens on July 7th, short films “Abyss,” “The Stage” and “Be In My Dream” by Bachi Artist Team led by Moon Geun-young were selected to be parts of the XL section screenings.

As part of the first project “My Story x Yolk” by the Bachi Artist Team, which was previously pre-released through YouTube, these three works will soon be on the big screen through this year’s Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival.

First of all, “Abyss” depicts a woman desperately trying to overcome her limitations, but sinking into a deeper and darker abyss as soon as she finds a ray of hope, and has to overcome that heavy obstacle once again. Moon Geun-young attracts attention with her underwater acting, which depicts how she is drawn into the darkness without knowing the direction.

Next, in “The Stage,” the artist’s inner side, who cannot escape the stage even if they want to, is sensitively captured through the realistic texture of the black and white screen. The story will give you a deep afterimage and overwhelming focus of an artist who can’t easily escape the pin lights that shine on them no matter how hard they try.

“Be In My Dream” sheds light on the loss and separation one suffers from losing their precious person. The man’s dance, which expresses his longing and his hope that this moment will last forever, makes him feel cozy as if he had reached a peaceful dream.

On the other hand, Moon Geun-young also confirmed her attendance at the GV (Guest Visit) where she can talk about the movies after the screening, raising expectations to the fullest. The screening event will be held at 2 p.m. on Jul 10th at CGV Picnic Hall, and heated responses from the audience is highly expected.
