Park Myung Soo invites NewJeans & IU to local events, “If they lower their appearance fees, we can perform together”
Comedian Park Myung Soo sent singer IU and girl group NewJeans love calls for events in the countryside.
The September 1st broadcast of KBS CoolFM’s “Park Myung Soo’s Radio Show” conducted a corner in which Park Myung Soo spent time listening to what radio listeners were angry about.
One listener sent a story to the program. They said, “I went to the ‘Daegu Chicken & Beer Festival’ and ran towards the stage as soon as I heard the song ‘ETA’ by NewJeans, but it turned out to be Park Myung Soo performing I was so angry”.
In response, Park Myung Soo said, “That’s right. I really like ‘ETA’ by NewJeans so I did a remix version of the song for DJing then played it during the performance”, adding “I also played IU songs. Do you think IU would come to the ‘Daegu Chicken & Beer Festival’?”
Park Myung Soo continued, “NewJeans and IU couldn’t come because their appearance fees are very high. Mine is cheaper”. He then invited NewJeans and IU, saying “It would be so great if you could lower your appearance fee so that we can perform at local events together”.
