The group NewJeans rose to the top of the idol group brand reputation rankings in September, shining with popularity
NewJeans secured the first place in the idol group brand reputation for September 2023, as announced by the Korean Corporate Reputation Research Institute on September 14th. BTS ranked second, and IU ranked third.
NewJeans, who claimed the top spot in the idol group brand reputation, consisted of members Minji, Hani, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein. Their brand reputation score was analyzed to be 6,941,545, with participation index of 1,128,078, media index of 1,348,500, communication index of 1,974,115, and community index of 2,490,852.
Director Gu Changhwan of the Korean Corporate Reputation Research Institute stated, “NewJeans’ brand scored high in link analysis for ‘revealing, breaking through, and achieving an all-kill,’ and in keyword analysis, ‘photoshoot, OST, and advertising’ received high scores. They recorded a positive ratio of 90.86% in sentiment analysis.”
The Korean Corporate Reputation Research Institute conducted big data analysis of idol group brand reputations from August 14th to September 14th, 2023, extracting a total of 72,173,076 data points. Compared to the previous August’s data of 88,715,789, this represented an 18.65% decrease.
