BLACKPINK is about to wrap up their year-long world tour, “BORN PINK,” with a highly anticipated final encore concert in Seoul. However, the competition in ticketing was so fierce that even a member of the group, Jisoo, found herself struggling to secure a spot.
YG Entertainment opened ticket sales for both in-person and online viewing options. But within a remarkably short span, the encore Seoul concert tickets were sold out.
Jisoo took to Weverse to seek help from BLINKs. She detailed her struggles with the ticketing process, which involved repeated identity verification requests that ultimately forced her to give up. She asked: “How could you buy tickets on your phone? After verifying multiple times, can I still buy them? I verified it five times already. Can someone please help me?”
Jisoo intended to acquire tickets to give away to fans in a lucky draw, however, she couldn’t succeed.
Jisoo’s experience was not unique. Even big fansites of BLACKPINK members took to Twitter to voice their own struggles in obtaining the concert tickets.
The competition for BLACKPINK tickets serves as a testament to the group’s global popularity and the dedication of their fans.
