The April brand reputation ranking for advertisement models has been announced, and NewJeans has taken the crown.
The Korea Corporate Reputation Research Institute announced the brand reputation ranking for advertisement models in April 2023 on the 13th. The ranking was determined based on big data analyzed from advertisement models’ brand reputation measured from March 13th to April 13th.
NewJeans showed a big difference with a brand reputation score of 2,256,007 compared to second-place Lim Young Woong (brand reputation score of 2,008,670) and third-place BLACKPINK (brand reputation score of 1,608,061). NewJeans also attracted attention by taking first place for three consecutive months.
NewJeans gained great attention as a blue chip in the advertising industry shortly after their debut in July last year. They were chosen as models for numerous brands such as SK Telecom’s, Shinhan Bank’s SOL, Musinsa, OIOI, LG Electronics’ laptop, KARIN, McDonald’s, Orenz Contact Lenses, Nike Air Max, Levi’s, Coca-Cola Zero, among others. The members have also been individually chosen as ambassadors for luxury brands such as Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, YSL Beauty, Armani Beauty, and Chanel.
Lim Young Woong is also active as an advertisement model for various companies. According to the content revealed on tvN’s “Free Doctor,” broadcast on April 10th, it is estimated that Lim Young Woong earned about 8 billion won in advertisement model fees only last year.
The show also discussed Lim Young Woong’s appearance fee. An entertainment reporter who appeared as a panelist said, “In the industry these days, it is said that Lim Young Woong’s appearance fee is over 100 billion won as a basic value.” This statement drew attention.
