Girl group NewJeans and their label ADOR is adding warmth to the year-end by giving donations to support the hearing impaired.
On December 29th, a welfare organization announced that NewJeans, along with their agency ADOR, have delivered donations to support the hearing impaired.”
This donation was prepared using proceeds from album sales, and will be used to support artificial cochlear surgery and language rehabilitation treatment for the hearing impaired, said the organization.
In addition, it is reported that ADOR and New Jeans will continue to donate a certain portion of their album sales every year.
Regarding this, ADOR said, “We are delighted to be part of a meaningful project to present sound to the hearing impaired. We will make good music so that New Jeans’ songs can reach more people.”
Meanwhile, the secretary of the welfare organization expressed his gratitude by saying, “I would like to express my gratitude to ADOR and artist NewJeans for their assistance to the hearing impaired. The donation will be well for families of children with hearing difficulties, who cannot undergo surgery due to financial lackings.”
On the other hand, NewJeans created a syndrome this year with their first mini-album “New Jeans”, earning attention for all songs, including “Attention”, “Hype Boy”, “Cookie”, and “Hurt”.
New Jeans will release a new single titled “OMG” on January 2nd. The pre-released song “Ditto”, which was unveiled on December 19th, is currently sweeping domestic and international music charts.
