“My Liberation Note” Son Seok-gu, “Why do I drink? It’s less difficult to be drunk than being sober”

“My Liberation Note” Son Seok-gu revealed the reason why he drank alcohol.

In JTBC’s weekend drama “My Liberation Note” (written by Park Hae-young and directed by Kim Seok-yoon), which aired on May 29th, Koo (Son Seok-gu) told Yeom Mi-jung the reason why he was addicted to alcohol.

Yeom Mi-jung (Kim Ji-won) started by asking Koo, “Why did you drink every day?” Koo replied, “It’s less difficult to be drunk than being sober.”

Yeom Mi-jung asked back, “Why is it hard for you?”

Koo said, “If I am sober, people who have left me will all come back to me. Everything. Even the dead. When I wake up in the morning, they just come endlessly,” and added, “If those who came to me all shower me with curses, and I just sit like that for an hour, I will get exhausted. Like the feeling of rotting water flowing inside my body. Then I think I should start drinking,” he confessed.
