Eunhyuk is being criticized for giving a too short answer to a 14-year fan’s question at a recent signing event

“It has been 14 years since I started seeing your stages” and Super Junior Eunhyuk’s cold response

On Nov 10th, a video of Eunhyuk talking to his fan at a video call signing event held on Nov 5th is spreading around many online communities.

The signing event was recently held to commemorate the release of Super Junior-D&E’s first full-length album “COUNTDOWN.” On this day, Eun-hyuk talked for two minutes per fan.

The problematic answer came during a conversation with a 14-year-long fan called A. A asked Eun-hyuk, “What kind of fan do you remember me as?” and Eun-hyuk only replied, “Good fan.“

When A was disappointed, saying, “It’s been 14 years since I started going  to your stages, and it’s been 6 years since I started going to your fan signing, do you have anything else to say?” Eun-hyuk said, “Yes. Then what should I say?” he asked back. He even emphasized, “Don’t make me do that kind of thing.“

Many fans expressed disappointment at Eun-hyuk’s rather cold answer. One fan pointed out, “It would have been nice if he had at least said “precious” or “a fan who has been with me for a long time”, but he only gave a disappointing answer.”

Other fans also said, “Even if you don’t remember, wouldn’t it be nice if you pretended to remember?” “Isn’t it thanks to the fans that Eun-hyuk was able to work for such a long time?”

Meanwhile, Eunhyuk made his debut as Super Junior in 2005. He and Donghae recently made a comeback as Super Junior unit group Super Junior-D&E with their first full-length album on Nov 2nd. He is currently appearing on KBS entertainment program “The Housekeeper 2.”
