Actress Moon Chae-won proceeded with a second complaint against the spreader of false information
IOK Company, Moon Chae-won’s agency, announced its official position on October 16th, saying, “We announced legal actions against the author of malicious posts such as insults, defamation, malicious slander, and dissemination of false facts to actress Moon Chae-won around March 2023, and then collected evidence from the perpetrator who posted repeatedly and filed a complaint with the police station through the law firm Seo-jeong.”
“We are collecting all the posts and comments against the continuing perpetrators to prevent additional damage to the actress around September and are filing additional complaints against 12 other people.”
Previously since March, various videos spreading rumors about the actress have become viral on YouTube, accusing her of having plastic surgery, misuse of power and being friends with controversial convicted criminal Jung Yoon-jung and her personal hygiene.
