Netflix original series ‘Mask Girl’ has reached the top position, captivating subscribers in 190 countries.
According to the ‘Netflix Top 10’, ‘Mask Girl‘ secured the 1st place in the non-English language TV category during the 4th week of August (August 21st to 27th). It recorded 50.8 million minutes of viewing time over the week, with a view count of 740,000.
It demonstrated overwhelming popularity, with its viewing time being around 1.8 times higher than the 2nd-ranked ‘Ragnarok Season 3’, and the view count also having a difference of about 900,000 views.
It was a choice of global subscribers, making it to the top 10 lists in 72 countries. These include South Korea, Canada, Germany, Spain, Egypt, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, and more.
Meanwhile, ‘Mask Girl’ is a thriller with a touch of dark comedy. The story revolves around office worker Kim Mo-mi, who becomes entangled in incidents while working as an internet broadcast BJ. It features performances from Go Hyun-jung, Ahn Jae-hong, Yeom Hye-ran, and others.
