A doctor was recently found to have been involved in the drug scandals of Lee Sun-kyun and G-Dragon
On October 26th, the Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency’s Narcotics Investigation Team announced that they recently booked doctor A without detention on charges of violating the Narcotíc Control Act and conducted an investigation.
After receiving reports that drugs were distributed at a membership entertainment establishment in Gangnam, Seoul, the police investigated and detected the involvement of bar director B, Lee Sun-kyun, G-Dragon and doctor A.
The police believed that A supplied drugs to Lee Sun-kyun and G-Dragon at no cost. B was arrested on drug charges and accused of threatening Lee Sun-kyun to receive 350 million won.
The police will soon conduct drug chemical tests on Lee Sun-kyun and G-Dragon in order to find out details such as the types of drugs they administered and the number of doses.
Lee Sun-kyun was booked for an internal investigation on the 23rd and the police later changed his status to ‘suspect’. Reports regarding the investigation into G-Dragon’s drug allegation broke out on the 25th.
Lee Sun-kyun’s agency did not deny the drug use accusation but promised to cooperate with the police investigation faithfully. G-Dragon has not yet announced any official position regarding his drug scandal.
