Following Soojin’s departure from (G)I-DLE, Knets abruptly asked Lia (ITZY) and Hyunjin (Stray Kids) to leave their respective groups

Many netizens believe Lia (ITZY) and Hyunjin (Stray Kids) should have left the groups like Soojin, rather than continuing to work as they do now.

On the evening of August 14, CUBE officially reported on Soojin‘s departure from (G)I-DLE.  This is the result of Soojin’s school violence scandal, which emerged earlier this year.

A series of school violence scandals broke out earlier this year, and as a result, not only was Soojin embroiled in a scandal, but so were a slew of other idols. Not all of them, however, were forced to make the same decision as Soojin. Lia (ITZY) and Hyunjin (Stray Kids) are two JYP idols who were also accused of bullying their classmates yet have continued to participate in their groups’ activities.

Therefore, right after the news of Soojin leaving (G)I-DLE, many people said that the way JYP handle the case of Hyunjin and Lia was still unacceptable.

Regarding Lia, JYP had made a move to sue the writer who had accused the female idol of bullying and spread untrue rumors about their artiest.  However, on June 13, the police side said there was no clear evidence to prove that the article was a false rumor or was written with slanderous purposes.  Currently, Lia was still working normally with ITZY without any new updates on the scandal.

As for Hyunjin, after confessing to his mistake in the past, apologizing to the victim, and being forgiven, he was informed that his activities with Stray Kids were temporarily suspending. After 4 months, Hyunjin made a comeback with Stray Kids like nothing ever happened
