“King the Land” reaches top 1 in global rankings, Lee Jun Ho boasts overwhelming influence following drama comeback

The drama received a whopping viewership of 12.017% for the latest episode. With this new achievement, “King the Land” becomes the ninth highest-rated series in the history of JTBC. The series also cements its place at the top of the weekend miniseries in Korea.

On Netflix, the drama successfully leads the Top 10 Global ranking in the non-English TV category with 24,500,000 viewed hours in one week, from June 26 to July 2. The series also stands at No. 1 in today’s ranking (July 6) in Korea.

After appearing in “King the Land,” the actor became the most talked-about in the third and fifth week of June. He jumped to No. 1 on the male actor brand reputation rankings of July 2023, published by the Korea Business Research Institute. The positive-negative ratio is 90.3%, showing an overwhelmingly positive reaction to the actor’s drama comeback. Korean netizens are calling him fondly by the name “King Jun Ho” after the hit JTBC series.
