Lee Hyo-ri Talks About Lip-syncing Broadcasts, “I Used To Like It, Idols Nowadays Are Good At Singing Live”

Park Myung-soo appeared on the February 2nd broadcast of KBS 2TV’s “The Seasons – Lee Hyo-ri’s Red Carpet” as one of the guests.

Seeing Park Myung-soo cover one ear while singing, Lee Hyo-ri asked, “I have a question. Why did you keep covering your ear?”. 

Park Myung-soo replied, “I’m on the same level as Lee Seung-chul, so just copy him. In the past, when the equipment was not as good as now, he often covered his ear like that to hear his voice well. I just benchmarked what Seung-cheol did. I covered my ear every time I sang and it became a habit. Many people wonder, ‘Do you have a bad hearing?’. Wearing the in-ear is a little bit uncomfortable. I’ve never worn in-ear to sing. I used to lip-sync a lot in the past. Even if the mic dropped, it was still okay”.

Lee Hyo-ri then confessed, “Actually, I really liked lipsyncing in the past”, adding “There used to be many lip-syncing broadcasts in the past, but these days, they don’t lip-sync anymore. All the idols nowadays are good at singing live”.

Park Myung-soo commented, “You can just do it”, drawing laughter.
