Kim Se Jeong talks about her drama action scenes and copyright fees from self-composed songs

Singer-actress Kim Se Jeong shared honest talks about her dramas and songs on “Problem Child in House”

The September 6th broadcast of KBS2’s entertainment program “Problem Child in House” featured the guest appearance of singer-actress Kim Se Jeong.

Kim Se Jeong recently made a comeback with the first full album in seven years since her debut. When Lee Chan Won asked, ”Did you know this friend would do well?”, Song Eun Yi said, “I did. During her debut days, she came out on my radio show and answered the questions very well despite being a rookie. So I believed that she would do well”, praising Kim Se Jeong. Kim Sook agreed, “She always smiled brightly”.

Kim Se Jeong recently played the main characters in successful dramas, such as “The Uncanny Counter 2” and “Business Proposal”. Jung Hyung Don wondered, “I heard you’re receiving many scripts”. In response, Kim Se Jeong humbly replied, “Not at all. I’ve just reached the level where I can choose a project for myself.”

When asked if the action scenes in “The Uncanny Counter 2” were difficult, she shared, “I got hurt and still have a scar on my knee, but it feels like a reward for me. I even wanted to act a lot of scenes where I got hurt in my face”, expressing her desire for action acting.

In addition, Kim Se Jeong, known as a singer-songwriter, revealed that she now has 25 songs credited under her name. Kim Sook asked, “How much do you earn from them?”. Kim Se Jeong responded, “I get around the minimum amount of monthly salary”.

Song Eun Yi exclaimed, “So it’s around 2 million won, right?”. Hearing that, Kim Se Jeong laughed and said, “When I don’t have activities, I’ll receive that much. But when my songs are doing well and being played a lot then…Shh! I’ll keep it a secret”.
