Kim Hye Soo is making a drama comeback? Agency responds, “She is reviewing the casting offer for ‘Trigger’”

Actress Kim Hye Soo is considering the offer to star in a new drama called “Trigger”.

On June 16th, KeyEast, the production company of the upcoming drama “Trigger (working title)”, said to DongA Dotcom, saying “We have offered a role to actress Kim Hye Soo. Both sides are positively discussing it.”

In this regard, Kim Hye Soo’s agency Hodu&U Entertainment said, “The actress has received the casting offer for ‘Trigger’ and is currently reviewing it”.

“Trigger” is the first real office comedy set against the backdrop of a broadcasting station’s investigative reporting department. It is a new project by director Yoo Sun Dong, who previously achieved record-breaking viewership with OCN’s “The Uncanny Counter”. Director Yoo has successfully wrapped up the production of “The Uncanny Counter 2”, and is now focusing on “Trigger.”

Meanwhile, Kim Hye Soo drew attention with her acting performance as Queen Hwa Ryeong in tvN’s drama “Under the Queen’s Umbrella” last year. Attention is focused on whether she would return to the small screen through “Trigger’.
