Shen Xiaoting, a member of rookie girl group Kep1er, expressed her feeling about topping the dance sports category at the 2022 Idol Star Athletic Championship.
On the afternoon of October 13th, a media showcase was held to commemorate the release of Kepler‘s 3rd mini album “TROUBLESHOOTER” at Yes24 Live Hall, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. The members of Kep1er (Choi Yujin, Shen Xiaoting, Mashiro, Kim Chaehyun, Kim Dayeon, Hikaru Ezaki, Huening Bahiyyih, Seo Youngeun, Kang Yeseo) attended the event.
Previously, Shen Xiaoting won the gold medal in the dance sports section of the MBC Chuseok special program “Idol Star Athletics Championships” (hereinafter referred to as ISAC).
At the event, Xiaoting recalled her win and said, “I’ve been doing dance sports since I was young. I’ve been doing it for about 6 years. While preparing for this comeback, I had no choice but to practice for ISAC as well. After the group schedule, I went to the practice room alone at night to practice. This lasted for about a week.”
Xiaoting also added, “To be honest, I was worried because I haven’t done dance sports for a long time. However, I felt good because I practiced my best and the members cheered me on a lot. I will show you various stages again in the future.”
On the other hand, the new album “TROUBLESHOOTER” expresses Kep1er’s transformation into nine heroines who solve troubles happily. It is expected to showcase Kep1er’s solid growth by portraying an upgraded musical color.
The title song “We Fresh” is an up-tempo dance genre that combines locking guitars and exciting house beats, and it is a song that highlights an intense beat that depicts powerful performances just by listening to it. Through “We Fresh”, Kep1er delivers a message of hope that even if there are difficulties, they can achieve anything by challenging together without fear, and instead with healthy and confident energy.
Kep1er’s third mini-album “TROUBLESHOOTER” will be released at 6PM (KST) on October 13th.
