Moon Chae Won to return to the small screen in new webtoon-based drama “Things Have Fallen Off”

Moon Chae Won has reportedly been cast as the female lead in “Things Have Fallen Off”.

According to Sports Seoul on March 17th, Moon Chae Won has confirmed her appearance in upcoming drama “Things Have Fallen Off” (literal title).

Adapted from the webtoon of the same name, “Things Have Fallen Off” tells the story of a woman who goes through her memories with her ex-boyfriend. They part ways because of boredom and later find the meaning of separation and meeting in a time travel that flows backwards. The journey is expected to give them time to look back on forgotten love. The drama is a Korean version of Hollywood film “About Time.”

The character Ji Won, played by Moon Chae Won, is a CEO of an interior design company and a workaholic who succeeds at a very young age. She has an outstanding appearance and excellent design skills. She is the kind of person who does not mind hurting others to achieve her goals. After being dumped by her ex-boyfriend, a job seeker whom she has taken care of for 8 years, Ji Won devotes herself to work even more. However, she then gets trapped in a time travel that moves backward and meets her ex-boyfriend again. 

Moon Chae Won made her acting debut in SBS’s 2007 drama “Mackerel Run”. The following years, she shot to fame with her supporting role as gisaeng Jeong Hyang in SBS’s “Painter of the Wind”, and later starred as the female lead in SBS’s “Brilliant Legacy”, KBS2’s “My Fair Lady”, MBC’s “Road No. 1”, and SBS’s “It’s Okay, Daddy’s Girl”. She continued to prove herself to be a sought-after K-drama star with her appearance in hit series one after another, including KBS2’s “The Princess’ Man”, “The Innocent Man”, “Good Doctor”, tvN’s “Tale of Fairy” and “Flower of Evil”. 

Moon Chae Won Things Have Fallen Off

On the big screen, starting with “Our School’s E.T.” in 2008, Moon Chae Won then starred in movies such as “War of the Arrows”, “Love Forecast”, “Mood of the Day”, and “Fengshui”. Currently, she is set to appear in the romantic comedy film “We Grow Up”, in addition to the drama “Things Have Fallen Off”.

Meanwhile, “Things Have Fallen Off” is produced by JTBC Studio and content creative group Moon. Director Han Yun Sun is going to be in charge of directing and scripting.
