K-POP Idol Admitted To Have Wife And Kid After Accidentally Exposing Himself On Livestream
Sung-joo, a member of the group UNIQ, admitted that he is a married man and a child's father.
UNIQ’s Sung-joo posted a long message on his Instagram account on March 2nd. “Hello, I’m Kim Sung-joo,” he said. “I apologize for surprising many people as sudden news about was spread through online communities and social media recently, and I am sorry for not being able to show up honestly.”
Sung-joo acknowledged that all the suspicions surrounding him were true, saying, “I wanted to deliver the news quickly to the fans who always support and love me, but I couldn’t tell you because I was in a cautious situation.”
He confessed that he was the breadwinner, husband and father of a family, saying, “I will tell you honestly, but I will head forward in a beautiful way in the future with my precious family as a sincere father and husband.”
Previously, Taiwanese media ET Today reported on February 17th (local time) that Sung-joo accidentally opened a voice message of Chinese member Li Wenhan during his livestream. The voice message said, “Your son, is he sleeping now? Come here. Let uncle give him a hug.”
After hearing Li Wenhan’s voice message on the live broadcast at the time, Sung-joo was very embarrassed and hurriedly turned off the message. Since then, fans have asked for clarification, but he has not made any particular stance until now. Some fans have raised rumors of him being a married man, claiming that they heard a female voice and saw toys for children in videos related to him.
