Jo Bo Ah and Rowoon will be playing the main characters in JTBC’s new drama “Destined With You”.
According to JTBC on June 12th, “Destined With You” is a fantasy romance drama that depicts the inevitable romance between a civil servant who obtains a sealed book that has been sealed for over 300 years and a lawyer who becomes the sacrificial lamb of that book. The drama is scheduled to air in mid-August.
Jo Bo Ah will play Lee Hong Jo, a grade 9 civil servant and a troubleshooter for citizen complaints in Onju. Lee Hong Jo always does her best despite being plagued by unimaginable complaints and is someone who is more accustomed to being alone.
Rowoon takes on the role of ace lawyer Jang Shi Kyung, who gets entangled with Lee Hong Jo by a twist of fate. As an unknown illness worsens, he seeks help from Lee Hong Jo, as she holds the key to unraveling a curse that has been passed down through generations in his family.
Kwon Jae Kyung, Lee Hong Jo’s colleague whom she has a crush on, will be played by Ha Joon. Yoon Na Yeon, Jang Shi Kyung’s girlfriend, will be played by Yura.
The script of “Destined With You” is written by No Ji Seol, who wrote the drama “100 Days My Prince” (2018), and directed by Nam Ki Hoon, who worked on “Kiss Six Sense” (2022) and “Voice 3” (2019).
