“The Glory” Jung Sung Il, poison chemistry with Song Hye Kyo…Everyone is bewitched by adult sexiness

“The Glory” Jung Sung Il is causing “Do Yeong disease” through his poison chemistry with Song Hye Kyo.

In Netflix’s series “The Glory“, Jung Sung Il plays Ha Do Yeong, who faces his wife Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon)’s Pandora box and falls into the whirlpool of revenge together due to Dong Eun (Song Hye Kyo), who has permeated his daily life at some point. He created an irreplaceable character by exuding the sexy charm of a middle-aged man with an exemplary yet mysterious vibe and deep eyes.

“The Glory”, which was released worldwide on Dec 30th last year, tells the story of a former victim of school violence who seeks revenge on her bullies after taking up a job as a homeroom teacher at the elementary school of the bully’s child. It is expected to be an extraordinary box office sensation by ranking third in the non-English TV category within three days of its release and ranking in the top 10 in 19 countries.

Jung Sung Il perfectly portrayed the character Ha Do Yeong, who owns both wealth and power in his hands and achieves a peaceful family as a loving father and husband but has a cold and sharp personality, from the outside to the inside. Described as “A nice bad guy”, this character attracted viewers’ attention with his neat suit fit and gentle look. Jung Sung Il created his own image of Ha Do Yeong with his unique low- and medium-pitched voice, calm tone, and warm smile that only appears when he is in front of his daughter.

In the scene where Do Yeong reunites with Dong Eun at the Go club and looks at her as if he is possessed, Jung Sung Il created a strange atmosphere and explosive chemistry with his deep eyes and facial expressions without no special lines.

Although Do Yeong and Dong Eun are not on the same side, the actors’ acting made viewers immerse in the story as if they were watching a melodrama scene.

Meanwhile, Part 1 of “The Glory” is already available on Netflix. Part 2 will be released in March
