The eye-catching, charming MC duo of IVE’s Jang Wonyoung and ZEROBASEONE’s Sung Hanbin is the talk of the town

The “Asia Artist Awards” (AAA) is the first integrated awards ceremony in Korea, attracting intense interest even before its commencement with a total of 34 teams of singers and 22 teams of actors from Korea and across Asia confirmed to attend this year. Jang Wonyoung, who has hosted “AAA” for 3 consecutive years, and Sung Hanbin, the new MC for “AAA”, showcased not only their visuals but also their smooth hosting skills, bringing an even warmer atmosphere to the venue.

Both of them are former participants of Mnet survival programs. Jang Wonyoung debuted as part of IZ*ONE through “Produce 48”, while Sung Hanbin debuted with ZEROBASEONE through “Boys Planet”. Both groups have made numerous records in K-pop history since their debut. In the case of ZEROBASEONE, they garnered a total of 9 trophies, including 5 rookie awards, at prominent awards ceremonies just 5 months after their debut.

Another commonality between the two is their active roles as music show MCs, known as the “star gateway”. Jang Wonyoung served as the 37th “female bank manager” of KBS2’s “Music Bank”, demonstrating stable and natural hosting skills. Sung Hanbin, appointed as the MC for Mnet’s “M Countdown” in September, is communicating with global viewers based on his deep affection and interest in K-pop.

This way, Jang Wonyoung and Sung Hanbin demonstrated their heartwarming senior-junior chemistry by serving as awards ceremony MCs following music shows. As they venture into future activities, their multifaceted abilities, proven not only in their main careers but also as MCs, are eagerly anticipated.
