Jae Jae is surprised by the story of an actor who finished her master’s degree at Korea Univ.: “I spent millions of won on my thesis survey”
A famous actor confessed that she had spent millions of won to write her master’s thesis at Korea University. She is Kim Ah-joong.
On Feb 17th, YouTube channel “MMTG” uploaded a video titled, “Kim Ah-joong, since you are a Catholic, do you like the song “Ave Maria” a lot? I still sing it at the karaoke Maria~Ave Maria~”.
In the released video, Kim Ah-joong, who appeared as a guest, said about the makeup in her representative film “200 Pounds Beauty, “I couldn’t take it off if I’m already in the latex suit, so I had to finish all the footage that day. I can’t even get my clothes off when I go to the bathroom. The stylist even had to lower and raise the clothes for me. I remember not drinking water because I was so sorry for that,” she recalled.
MC Jae Jae said “I heard you were a singer trainee in the past and your stage name was ‘A-Jun’.” In response, Kim Ah-joong said, “That stage name was given by the CEO of the agency. He said that I should use A-jun because foreigners had difficulty pronouncing Ah-joong. I just use it because he told me to,” she answered.
Jae Jae then said, “You also studied while working. It turned out you are a know-it-all. You studied a lot. I also looked up your academic journal papers.” Accordingly, Kim Ah-joong replied, “I seemed to have written those papers while crying. I was struggling,” she said, recalling her memory.
Kim Ah-joong said, “I had gathered about a hundred undergraduate and graduate students and conducted a survey in person,” adding, “I did everything myself. I even prepared a cultural gift voucher for anyone who responded to my survey. Each gift certificate was 10,000 won. I gave each of them two or three vouchers,” she said, drawing surprise.
Kim Ah-joong debuted as an advertising model in 2004. She has a master’s degree in broadcasting at Korea University Graduate School of Journalism. She appeared as the main actor in Disney Plus’ original drama “Grid,” which was released on Feb 16th.
