Jackson’s parents used to be against him becoming idol because they thought JYP was a fraud

Jackson has had an interesting conversation about how he became an idol on his latest reality show.

In the latest episode of “Give Me a Meal”, Jackson shared his story before debuting as an idol, when he was still a member of Hong Kong Fencing team. The idol explained that he was preparing for”London Olympics 2012″ when he received an invitation to join JYP Entertainment.

“I was playing basketball at school when I met JYP’s casting team, but at that time, my parents were very angry, they even questioned JY Park president and said that he is a scammer.”

However, Jackson later pursued the path of becoming an idol because he knew he would regret if he did not doing so.
