aespa made headlines with their airport fashion as they became the first K-pop group to attend the 76th Cannes International Film Festival.
As official ambassadors for Chopard since 2022, aespa received an invitation from Caroline Scheufele, Co-President and Artistic Director of Chopard, to walk the red carpet at the 76th Cannes International Film Festival.
It is the first time for a K-pop group to participate in this event since the establishment of the Cannes International Film Festival, and aespa’s red carpet appearance is expected to garner significant attention.
The 76th Cannes Film Festival began on May 16th and will run for 11 nights and 12 days until the 27th. It is an annually held event.
Chopard, the official partner of the Cannes International Film Festival since 1998, not only designs and produces the coveted Palme d’Or, but also provides various support and hosts major events at the festival.
As official ambassadors for Chopard, aespa showcased a sense of style by completing their eye-catching airport fashion with Chopard jewelry.
In particular, on May 22nd, the day of departure, the members of aespa, including Karina, Winter, Giselle, and Ningning, layered various pieces of Chopard jewelry, from the Happy Sport Watch to the Happy Hearts, My Happy Hearts, and Ice Cube Collection, to create aespa’s charming airport fashion that suits each member’s style.
While Karina and Giselle styled their black looks with watches and jewelry as accents, Ningning and Winter sported hot summer looks with crop tops and jewelry styling.
