IVE’s An Yujin has been selected as a special single collaboration artist for the main theme song “This Wish” of Disney’s 100th-anniversary film “Wish”
Walt Disney Company Korea released a teaser and still cuts on Dec 15th, heightening expectations for “Wish” and its OST.
“Wish” (directed by Chris Buck and Fawn Veerasunthorn, distributed by Walt Disney Company Korea) focuses on a 17-year-old girl named Asha in the Kingdom of Rosas, who makes a passionate plea to the stars in a moment of need, which leads her to meet a living, magic star fallen from the sky, something that attracts the attention of Rosas’ evil ruler Magnifico as well.
“This Wish” is the song Asha sings when she wishes upon the star after discovering the deceptive method behind King Magnifico’s wish-granting. Known for her bright and lovable image as well as clear and pure voice, An Yujin is expected to perfectly interpret “This Wish” and bring the character of Asha to life.
Having received great love from the public for numerous hit songs, IVE recently won the Grand Prize for two consecutive years at the “MMA 2023” (Melon Music Awards). Through their first world tour, they established themselves as a global trend, performing in 27 cities in 19 countries.
An Yujin, who has showcased her unique sense of entertainment as the “golden maknae (youngest member)” on tvN’s variety program “Earth Arcade”, has been loved by people of all ages. With her flawless charm, from singing ability to sense of entertainment, the anticipation is high for An Yujin’s new charm as she joins Disney’s 100th-anniversary project “Wish” as a special singer.

“Wish” is set to be released on January 3rd, 2024.
