IU’s Summer Style Proposition: From White Dresses to Denim

The leading domestic jewelry and watch brand, J.Estina, has unveiled its 2023 summer season advertising campaign featuring brand muse IU.

J.Estina’s campaign embodies the concept of ‘ETERNAL LOVE’ and portrays moments of timelessness under the radiant sun on a summer day.


In the first advertisement cut, IU showcases an elegant jewelry look, pairing a white cut-out dress with luxurious accessories.

In the second advertisement cut, IU enhances her vibrant charm by wearing J.Estina’s COLOR CANDY collection, complementing a refreshing yellow resort outfit.

In the final advertisement cut, IU completes a cool summer look in casual denim attire, adorned with J.Estina’s CLOVIA collection, under the dazzling sun.

IU, who is currently active as the brand model for J.Estina, was reported to the police on the 9th of this month for plagiarism allegations.

A person identified as A accused IU of plagiarizing six songs, including “Pink Shoes,” “Good Day,” and “BBIBBI,” claiming suspicions of copyright infringement.


In response, IU’s agency, EDAM Entertainment, stated, “Based on the facts confirmed so far, the complainant is a third party who has no rights to the songs in question. Despite the allegations of plagiarism for public interest purposes, the target of the complaint is the singer rather than the songwriter, which raises doubts about the motives and intentions behind the actions.”

Furthermore, they mentioned, “As the details of the complaint are being examined, we have been preparing substantiated materials with the help of music experts and composers based on information provided by fans over several months to strongly respond to it. An investigation is also underway regarding the distribution of a lure involving espionage rumors. We will take measures to uncover the source and ensure legal consequences for the distributor.”
