IU Receives Good News Today (May 11) Amid Sudden Accusation of Plagiarism 

The movie “Dream” starring IU and Park Seo Joon surpassed one million viewers in just 16 days since its release.

According to the Korean Film Council’s integrated computer network for movie ticket sales as of 9:45 am KST on May 11th, “Dream” recorded a cumulative audience of 1,008,770.

Through its cheerful and heartwarming story that resonates with viewers amidst tough competition with foreign films, “Dream” is showcasing the presence of Korean cinema. 

As it is a movie that can be enjoyed by all generations, especially during Family Month, attention is focused on whether it can continue its success at the nationwide box office.

Along with the news of surpassing one million viewers, an official congratulatory photo of “Dream’s” director Lee Byung Heon and main cast, including Park Seo Joon and IU, celebrating their achievement has been released. The photo reveals the outstanding teamwork among the cast.

Meanwhile, “Dream” tells the story of former soccer player Hong Dae (Park Seo Joon), who has lost his passion, and PD So Min (IU), who lacks enthusiasm, challenging an impossible dream with the homeless national team players.
