SF9’s Dawon performed emergency measures to save a patient experiencing cardiac arrest at a sauna 

The idol took a leave at the fan event to recover and gain stability.

SF9’s agency FNC Entertainment posted an emergency notice on SF9’s official fan cafe on January 5th, saying, “We inform you that SF9 member Dawon will not attend the season’s greeting fan event scheduled for today. Dawon witnessed a patient experiencing cardiac arrest while taking a bath in his usual sauna today. He did his best to take emergency measures according to the instructions of paramedics delivered on the wire, and later handed the patient over to 119 paramedics who arrived at the scene.”

“After discussing with the artist, we canceled the set schedule [so that he can] take a rest and remain stable,” said the agency. “We ask for your understanding who might be sad about [Dawon’s] sudden absence at the fan event. We will do our best to help the artist regain stability as soon as possible,” said FNC.

SF9 is a nine-member boy group that debuted in 2016 through Mnet’s survival program ‘d.o.b: Dance or Band’. They are set to release their 12th mini-album “The Piece OF9” on the January 9th.
