IU is a North Korean hacker? Anti-fans really crossed the line

The actions of anti-fans against singer-actress IU have truly gotten on the nerves of netizens.

On March 31st, a netizen posted a photo of a pamphlet created by IU anti-fans on the Korean online community “Humor Univ”.

In the pamphlet revealed by the aforementioned netizen, absurd contents such as “IU is a North Korean spy,” and “IU’s songs are North Korean propaganda” are included. The netizen who posted these photos also expressed their frustration, saying, “Doesn’t IU have a legal team? Shouldn’t they work on these cases?”

Seeing the unbelievable accusations, other netizens could only leave perplexed comments such as, “Does the person who made those pamphlets have mental issues?”, “Such actions can incur a lawsuit”, “What a waste of paper”, and “This is really serious”.

Regarding malicious commenters, IU’s agency, Edam Entertainment, is regularly taking legal actions against personal attacks, defamation, slander, malicious slander, false information dissemination, and privacy invasion for its artists IU, Shin Se Kyung, and WOODZ, and is constantly receiving reports from fans.

In fact, in December of last year, Edam Entertainment announced, “We have identified the perpetrator who has consistently written false information and defamation posts about IU and filed a lawsuit. The perpetrator admitted to the criminal charges and was fined 3 million won.”

Meanwhile, IU is preparing for the release of her movie “Dream” on April 26th. “Dream”, which draws attention as the collaboration of Park Seo Joon and IU, revolves around the former soccer player Hong Dae (played by Park Seo Joon) and the passionless PD So Min (played by IU). Together, they challenge an impossible dream with national team players for the Homeless World Cup.
