IU and movie “Dream” expressed condolences to ASTRO Moonbin

Singer-actress IU and the movie “Dream” expressed their condolences to ASTRO Moonbin, who suddenly passed away.

On April 20th, the movie “Dream” expressed their condolences, “We express our regret at ASTRO Moonbin’s sad news and sincerely pray for the repose of the deceased.”

At the same time, “Dream” announced that there was an embargo on IU’s interview scheduled to be held today (April 20th). “Dream” asked for understanding, saying, “The unscheduled embargo is a condolence to the deceased.”

The date of IU’s interview was changed to after April 24th to mourn Moonbin, who became a star in the sky.

Moonbin was found dead at his home in Gangnam-gu, Seoul at 8:10 PM on April 19th. He was twenty-five years old. The agency Fantagio said, “Moonbin suddenly left us and became a star in the sky. ASTRO members, Fantagio fellow artists and employees are deeply mourning the deceased in such great sadness and shock.”

The deceased’s mortuary was set up at Seoul Asan Hospital, and the funeral will be held on April 22nd. Currently, the mortuary is guarded by Moonbin’s younger sister Moon Sua, family members, company officials, ASTRO members Jinjin, Yoon Sanha and MJ, who took emergency leave while serving in the military. Cha Eunwoo, who went to the U.S. for a schedule, is currently returning to Korea after hearing the sad news of Moonbin’s death.
