Hostess Bar Director Who Blackmailed Lee Sun-kyun Suspected Of Growing Cannabis In Hideout

The police suspected hostess bar director A, who threatened to expose Lee Sun-kyun’s drug use, of growing cannabis

On October 26th, Channel A reported, “The police found cannabis in the officetel at the time they arrested A so they suspected that she grew cannabis there”.

After receiving reports on A’s drug use on October 18th, Incheon Metropolitan Police Agency detectives immediately arrested A after confirming that she was staying at an acquaintance’s house.

A is accused of illegally administering psychotropic drugs. In particular, actor Lee Sun-kyun is also suspected to have taken drugs at A’s residence in Seoul.

The police are also investigating A on her evidence that she talked to Lee Sun-kyun more than 10 times and the accusation that she threatened Lee Sun-kyun to get 300 million won.

They arrested A while she was staying at her acquaintance’s officetel, and found cannabis in the bathroom.

Channel A continued, “There was a glass pipe believed to be used to inhale cannabis and a ‘plant cultivator’ in the room. The police raised suspicions that A directly grew cannabis at that place.” However, A reportedly explained, “My acquaintance grew lettuces”.

Meanwhile, the police are considering banning Lee Sun-kyun from leaving Korea and plan to summon him for a drug substance test. When asked if the actor admitted to taking drugs, Lee Sun-kyun’s lawyer responded, “It’s very difficult to give an answer right now. He will reveal his position at the investigative agency”.
