(G)I-DLE’s Miyeon revealed the secret story behind her short hair transformation.
On Oct 10th, a video featuring Miyeon was uploaded on Allure Korea’s official channel.
When asked “Are you interested in makeup?“, Miyeon replied, “Yes, I am. I used to be really bad at makeup, but my skills have improved recently, and now I would say I score around 70 points. I have my makeup done every day, so there are things I’ve picked up along the way.“
Regarding her recent transformation with short hair, she shared, “My hair was getting shorter due to frequent dyeing, and it got to an awkward length. So I decided to get a cut without much thought. But I immediately regretted it. Fortunately, fans and people around me said it looked pretty, so I gained courage and am living with it.“
She added, “The good thing about short hair is that it dries quickly. I can dry it quickly after taking a shower and go to bed, so I like it.“
Miyeon also mentioned her focus on inner beauty, saying, “I’m diligently taking probiotics and vitamins. At some point, I thought I should consistently take them. I think good circulation and recharging with vitamins can be beneficial, so I’m taking care of that.“
