G-Dragon to Hold Concert in November? “Nothing Has Been Confirmed”

The agency of G-Dragon has responded to rumors of him holding a concert in Seoul in the November of this year.

According to SPOTV News on August 2, G-Dragon is preparing for a concert at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome in November.

Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome, with a capacity of approximately 16,000 people, is one of the few venues in Seoul capable of hosting large-scale concerts, alongside KSPO Dome, due to the remodeling of Jamsil Main Stadium.

Currently, the largest concert venue in Seoul is Sangam World Cup Stadium, which can accommodate around 60,000 people. However, it is not easily available for rental due to turf issues, leading most artists to use KSPO Dome, Gocheok Dome, and Inspire Arena in Yeongjongdo, Incheon, as performance venues.

G-Dragon has chosen Gocheok Dome, which allows for the inclusion of large sets, as the concert venue. He has already secured the venue for November and is preparing for a massive concert. However, his agency, Galaxy Corporation, stated, “It is true that we are preparing for a comeback in the second half of the year, but nothing has been confirmed yet,” refraining from commenting further on the concert.

In addition, G-Dragon has hinted at his imminent solo comeback multiple times, but so far has not confirmed any specific dates.

In preparation for his comeback, G-Dragon has also received the trademarks for “G-Dragon” and “GD” from his former agency, YG Entertainment. It is reported that YG’s head producer Yang Hyun-suk generously transferred these trademarks to him without any compensation.
