Korean broadcasting station JTBC recently reported on G-Dragon’s plans after the male idol overcame drug allegations
In October, fans were taken aback when G-Dragon became embroiled in drug allegations. However, the BIGBANG leader refuted all accusations, even willingly appeared at the police station for testing and eventually got a negative result for drug use.
Now, having restored his reputation and cleared his name, G-Dragon’s comeback project is now more anticipated than ever.
Adding to this, on December 12, JTBC reported that according to industry insiders, “G-Dragon is currently working hard on his album at his new agency.”
Meanwhile, the male idol himself has been dropping hints related to his possible comeback, from sharing profound messages to undergoing a “hair transformation”.
With additional revelations from South Korean media, fans are becoming more confident in the possibility of G-Dragon’s making his comeback soon.
On the other hand, in January of this year, G-Dragon announced that he will be releasing an album after six years since the 2017 EP “Kwon Ji Yong”. It is known that this project had been planned for over 3 years, after G-Dragon’s discharge from the military.
However, an unwarranted scandal occurred, disrupting the plans and significantly affecting the artist’s mental state. During the drug accusations, YG has also announced that G-Dragon is no longer an artist under the company, raising speculations about his current company.
