Park Eun-bin: “’Woo Young-woo’ Season 2, I’m worried that it might be damaged…I will need bigger determination”

Actress Park Eun-bin is cautious about joining season 2 of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo”.

Park Eun-bin, who recently appeared on the ENA Wednesday-Thursday drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo,” met with Spotv News at a cafe in Apgujeong-dong, Seoul on August 22nd to talk about her acting in dramas.

With how popular “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” is, production company A Story announced its intention to start producing season 2 with the goal of getting it on air in 2024. However, even if the production company, broadcasting company, and all other cast members agree, it is not an exaggeration to say that the success of season 2 depends on Park Eun-bin’s decision, the overwhelming title role.

In response, Park Eun-bin said, “It was through an article after the drama ended that I officially heard about season 2. In fact, it is still very uncertain what our future will be,” she said.

Park added, “I personally think that since the drama has been loved by so many people, I will need to have a much greater determination than when I first join ‘Woo Young-woo’ in order to meet the expectations. In addition, I feel like we’ve wrapped it up well in a treasure box now, and if we have to open it again, I’m a little worried that the beautiful crystals in it will be damaged,” she said honestly.

But as I said, I can’t give you an answer that can satisfy everyone right now because it’s in the distant future. Anyway, I just want to tell you how difficult it is for us actors, and that it’s something I have to contemplate about again,” she replied cautiously.

Meanwhile, “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” depicts the survival journey at a large law firm of Woo Young-woo, a newbie lawyer with both a genius brain and autism spectrum.

Park Eun-bin played the title role Woo Young-woo in the series, leading the 16-episode drama to a perfect ending with her amazing performance. After writing a new history for channel ENA with a surprising rise from 0.9% viewer ratings (based on Nielsen Korea’s paid households) in the first episode to 17.5% in the last episode, “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” gained popularity as a syndrome, ranking first in the Netflix world rankings for non-English content and third in the general chart.
