Sooyoung recently made her first drama comeback of 2023 after a hectic 2022. The idol-actress graces the small screen with the ENA’s drama “Not Others.” With the first two episodes, the drama established a new rating record – 1.6% on the second episode – surpassing “Lies Hidden in My Garden” starring two prominent actresses Kim Tae Hee and Lim Ji Yeon.
In “Not Others,” Sooyoung plays Kim Jin Hee, a 29-year-old patrol team leader of the police station in her local area. She lives and banters with her mother, Kim Eun Mi (Jeon Hye Jin) about her lifestyle, such as partying and going to bars. This is Eun Mi wants to compensate for her lost youth after getting pregnant too early. Nonetheless, she maintains a professional life as a responsible physical therapist and performs her duty as a caring mother. “Not Others” promises to be Sooyoung’s next success as viewers have already complimented her acting and deemed this drama to be the funniest in her career and the K-drama scene up to this point.
