FIFTY FIFTY finding new members “Will the second ‘Cupid’ be born?”

On Feb 3rd (local time), a preliminary audition to find new members for FIFTY FIFTY was held at the Kallang Place event hall in Singapore, organized by the agency Attrakt.

People aged 14 and over from Southeast Asia gathered at the venue. Those who pass this audition can advance to the final audition round, which will be held in Thailand on March 2nd.

Attrakt is currently holding auditions in various countries around the world, including Korea, Japan and Singapore, to select new members. Among the audition judges is Evergreen Group Holdings’ CEO David Yong, who announced a 10 billion won investment in Attrakt in August last year.

He stated, “The talents of the participants exceeded our expectations. FIFTY FIFTY’s final lineup is not yet certain.”

Attrakt explained that they plan to finalize the group’s lineup in April and release a new song by June.

Previously, FIFTY FIFTY made a remarkable breakthrough on global major charts with the single “Cupid”, being called the “miracle of small and medium-sized idols”. However, happiness was short-lived, as FIFTY FIFTY was embroiled in internal conflicts. In June last year, members filed for an injunction to suspend the effectiveness of their exclusive contracts with the agency Attrakt.

However, the injunction lawsuit was dismissed as unfavorable circumstances for the members and The Givers, which was FIFTY FIFTY’s service supplier, continued to be captured. During this process, only Keena withdrew the lawsuit and returned to Attrakt.

Subsequently, Attrakt notified Saena, Sio and Aran of the termination of their exclusive contracts.

Besides, Keena, who announced a fresh start upon her return, commemorated her first debut anniversary in November last year by leaving a handwritten letter, promising, “It was a time of learning and growth. As FIFTY FIFTY’s Keena, I will present good performances and music to Hunnies (fandom) in the future.”
