Famous Football Club Plagiarized BTS’s Logo? Fans Confused & Angered

On January 30, professional football club Birmingham City FC, which is based in the UK, shared a photo on the SNS platform X.

The photo includes a logo, along with the abbreviation “P S H” on a blue background, drawing the attention of many. The football club also added the caption “Soon”, so this is likely to be a post teasing about Korean football player Paik Seung-ho, who will be joining Birmingham City FC.

However, the logo published by Birmingham City FC looks eerily similar to BTS’s logo, leaving many fans confused and upset. Fans of BTS have thus left a lot of comments, questioning Birmingham City FC’s logo and showing their confusion.

So far, many suspected that Birmingham City FC used the logo as a hint for “South Korea” to announce Paik Seung-ho. This is not an appropriate move, they said, as the logo is trademarked by BigHit and unauthorized use may lead to a lawsuit.

Meanwhile, Birmingham City FC has not released any official statement regarding the situation.
