Ex-(G)I-DLE Seo Soojin signals her return “YouTube channel opening + performance video release”

Former (G)I-DLE member Seo Soojin raised a signal of her return

On the afternoon of Oct 25th, Seo Soojin opened her official YouTube channel “SOOJIN” and uploaded a performance video titled “BLACK FOREST”.

In this roughly 2-minute black and white video, Soojin showcases a dance performance in sync with the music. The video garnered over 2,000 views within 15 minutes of being published, creating a buzz.

Previously, a media outlet reported that Seo Soojin is preparing for her solo debut this fall. It was later revealed that Seo Soojin signed an exclusive contract with BRD Communications, further confirming her comeback.

Seo Soojin faced controversy in February 2021 when allegations of school violence were raised against her. She subsequently departed from girl group (G)I-DLE in August of the same year. Seo Soojin’s side denied the school violence allegations and sued the person who exposed her. However, in March last year, the case was dismissed, leading to the termination of her contract with Cube Entertainment.

With her return after about 2 years and 8 months, all eyes are on whether Seo Soojin can win back the public’s hearts.
