Netflix’s series “The Glory” will finally be released on Dec 30th.
“The Glory” tells the story of a former victim of school violence who seeks revenge on her bullies after taking up a job as a homeroom teacher at the elementary school of the bully’s child.
“The Glory” is a collaboration between writer Kim Eun Sook of “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God”, “Mr. Sunshine” and director Ahn Gil Ho of “Stranger”. It raises anticipation with the appearance of actors Song Hye Kyo, Lee Do Hyun, Lim Ji Yeon, Yeom Hye Ran, Park Sung Hoon and Jung Sung Il. Above all, it is drawing attention as the second meeting between writer Kim Eun Sook and Song Hye Kyo as well as an intense work that broke everyone’s expectations.
The first poster and motion poster released this time attract attention with the intense visuals of Song Hye Kyo (as Dong Eun), who sits alone under a beautifully embroidered tree. Song Hye Kyo, who looks mysterious, intense and lonely at the same time like a character in an artwork based on a myth, makes viewers look forward to her acting as Dong Eun. The poetic copy “There is no forgiveness, so there will be no glory” is also impressive. The motion poster with impressive trees, flowers and objects seems to tell the meaning of revenge that Dong Eun (Song Hye Kyo) has been planning for a long time.
