Co-ed pop group KARD makes little noise with latest comeback, fans blame DSP for poor promotion
KARD has not had their big break after many years in K-pop.
On April 10th, KARD, a co-ed group under DSP Media, released a music video for “Without You” in the titular single as their third digital single release. KARD is a co-ed group in K-pop with four members: Somin, Jiwoo, J.Seph and BM. They debuted in 2016 and gained recognition with “Oh NaNa,” “Don’t Recall” and “Hola Hola.”

While the group maintains consistent releases, KARD has a hard time building recognition due to various obstacles. In 2020, J,Seph joined the military. Later, Somin was caught in April’s bullying scandal, as she was almost a member of the girl group.
Among the members, BM has the most prospective career. He pursues a solo career and actively works as a model. BM manages to appear on international catwalks, along with international promotional campaigns.

In response, fans claim the reason KARD’s comeback could not make much noise is because of DSP Media and their poor promotion and investment in the group’s comeback.
