Chicago excited by NewJeans’ appearance “Popularization of K-pop”

Girl group NewJeans’ appearance made Chicago, USA excited.

NewJeans took the stage at a super-large music festival that attracted 400,000 people.

Reporter Kwon Sol reported how K-pop is penetrating the mainstream music industry in the United States.

This is the site of Lollapalooza, one of the two major music festivals in the United States.

As girl group NewJeans’ performance adds excitement, fans sing along Korean lyrics.

“Oh say it ditto / Can’t wait till the morning”

NewJeans is the first K-pop girl group to participate in this event.

It was even more meaningful since NewJeans was in charge of performing on the festival’s opening day.

The number of K-pop fans from all over the United States is uncountable.

Last year, BTS J-Hope became the first Korean to perform at a North American music festival.

From BLACKPINK last April to NewJeans today, we can now confirm that K-pop has entered the path of popularization in North America.
