After staying silent for days amidst various controversies, Cai Xukun has finally released an official statement.
On July 3rd, famous Chinese star Cai Xukun published an official statement regarding ongoing rumors of him getting a one-night stand, C, pregnant and urging her to have an abortion.
In particular, the full text of Cai Xukun’s statement is as below:
“Hello everyone, this is Cai Xukun.
Recently, there has been a lot of information about me that has been spreading across social media, and I would like to apologize for taking up your time.
2 years ago, I got involved with C while single. We have resolved our personal matters since 2021, and from henceforth no longer have any issue with each other.
Nevertheless, I have to clarify these things with everyone as well as with the media. My relationship with C was consensual on both sides, and claims such as ‘forced abortion’ and my partner being a ‘minor’ are completely groundless. There is nothing illegal about us, so I hope that media outlets stop spreading and believing in such rumors.
This event is a painful lesson for me. For the past 2 years, I have always regretted it and blamed myself for it. Once again, I would like to apologize to fans, who have supported and believe in me, as well as to people who have watched me grow.
In the future, I will be more careful about my words and actions, and be mindful of the public and society, who are always watching my step. At the same time, I hope that everybody can respect and protect the privacy of those involved in the matter, especially C.”
Meanwhile, there have been various rumors emerging, which are related to Cai Xukun, from him getting 3 women pregnant to getting involved with a minor. However, none of these have any evidence, and Cai Xukun has not responded to any of them.
An accusation of Cai Xukun’s mother invading C’s privacy by hiring a private investigator and installing a private camera was also brought up, though it hasn’t been addressed.
