For a few days, there have been rumors on social networks that Rosé (BLACKPINK) is currently in the US preparing to attend the biggest event on the planet, Met Gala. Although there was a stir, people were still skeptical because there were no pictures of Rosé in the US.
But on the evening of September 12, photographer Miles Diggs posted a series of photos of the female idol with the caption, “Rosé from Blackpink Spotted in NYC Leaving a YSL Fitting days before the Met Gala”. Immediately, these images attracted the attention of netizens.
Thus, Rosé will become the first BLACKPINK member as well as the first Kpop idol to attend the most prestigious fashion event on the planet Met Gala. This fashion “party” will officially take place at 5:30 pm on September 13 (local time) and will be livestreamed live on Vogue’s homepage and Twitter.
Every year, the Met gala has a number of cochairs who help host the event. And for the 2021 Met gala, Timothée Chalamet, Billie Eilish, Amanda Gorman, and Naomi Osaka will cochair the affair, while Tom Ford, Instagram’s Adam Mosseri, and Anna Wintour will serve as the honorary chairs.
