BLACKPINK Jisoo tells Coachella backstage story, “I did not look at the crying members and just get off work”

Jisoo revealed a behind-the-scenes story about BLACKPINK’s Coachella performance.

On September 1st, Park Myung Soo’s YouTube channel “Hal Myung Soo” uploaded a new video featuring the guest appearance of BLACKPINK Jisoo.

As soon as Jisoo showed up, Park Myung Soo gave her a bouquet of flowers and said, “Thank you for coming here for the second time. I heard you just successfully completed a performance at Coachella in the US”. Jisoo shared, “We performed the final stage for Coachella. In fact, Beyoncé performed the finale before, so it was an honor for BLACKPINK to be finale performers, too.”

She continued, “Until the day before the performance, I was still wondering, ‘I won’t make any mistakes, right?’, but on the day of the event, I just thought ‘Just do it’. The members were very nervous before going on the stage so I tried to not look at them. I didn’t want to be swayed by the tension”, adding “During our performance, we saw an audience holding the Korean flag. We had to do it for two weeks, but the members cried from the first performance. We had not done everything yet so I did not cry. After the first performance, I got off work on time”.

In fact, there was a viral scene of Jisoo at the Coachella. When the members were sobbing after finishing the performance, Jisoo calmly asked them, “BLACKPINK ah, aren’t we going to take a picture? If not, I’m going to get changed.”

Revealing that she really likes bagels, Jisoo said, “I used to wait in line for shopping”, adding “ISTPs do everything if you ask them”. After trying various bagels with Park Myung Soo, Jisoo continued eating ramen. Finishing 20 kinds of famous bagels in Seoul, Jisoo said, “I’m so full. It’s the kind of fullness that makes me want to eat something spicy”.
