Attrakt CEO on FIFTY FIFTY Keena’s return “Since she’s back, I’ll forgive her”

Keena had previously taken legal action against the company, causing a lot of concern about her future. However, she decided to retract her appeal, and this has shifted the public’s attention toward CEO Jeon.

On Oct 17th, Star News reported a brief interview with CEO Jeon Hong-joon.

Keena, who is in charge of rap parts in FIFTY FIFTY, expressed her intention to drop the legal disputes and return to the agency, while the other three members chose to continue with the legal proceedings.

Keena recently submitted a withdrawal of appeal to the Seoul High Court’s Civil Division 25-2, which was responsible for the temporary injunction of the exclusive contract against Attrakt.

Attrakt confirmed to Star News that Keena expressed her intent to return to the agency and that they would communicate with her in the future to understand her intentions, including resuming activities and the direction she wants to take.

It was reported that Keena has not had any separate meetings or conversations with CEO Jeon, who is currently in Korea.

It is anticipated that after accepting Keena back to the agency, CEO Jeon will proceed with the legal disputes involving the other members.

Previously, all four FIFTY FIFTY members filed for a temporary injunction against Attrakt, but the court dismissed their request. They chose to appeal the court’s decision and awaited further legal proceedings.

FIFTY FIFTY gained attention globally with their first single album’s title track “Cupid” released in February, entering the Billboard Hot 100 chart just 4 months after their debut. Despite not belonging to any of the “big four” entertainment companies (SM, YG, JYP, HYBE), the group received accolades for their remarkable success. They also had the opportunity to sing the OST for the movie “Barbie”, which grossed over 10 trillion won. However, their bright future was dimmed by the legal disputes.
