Explaining why she wrote the messages, Moonbin’s mother said, “I saw that indiscriminate rumors were being made in some small communities. These rumors are extremely difficult for me as a mother to see. I am worried that those false rumors will not only cause harm to many people but also hurt the hearts of fans who sincerely miss our son.“
She continued, “I earnestly request that no more unchecked facts and rumors be created, hoping that my son will not be misrepresented by such gossip.”
Meanwhile, Moonbin suddenly passed away on April 19 at the age of 25. It was the 49th day after Moonbin’s passing on June 6th. The deceased family has prepared a memorial space called “Moon’s Space” at Namhansanseong Temple in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do since the 7th.
Moonbin debuted as a member of ASTRO in 2016 and actively participated in the group’s promotions as an ace member together with Cha Eun Woo. Later, he formed a unit with member Sanha and received huge love through various activities, including the overseas fan tour.
