Female Idol’s SNS Update Amid Detainment in Foreign Country Draws Attention
Despite being detained in Bali, a female idol still updates her SNS, drawing the attention of fans and the public alike.
As previously reported by the media, on April 26, five artists and the crew of KBS Joy’s TV program “My Own Package Season 2: Pick Me Trip in Bali” were detained in Bali (Indonesia) due to unauthorized filming.
As a result, the entire crew had their passports confiscated and had to stay at a hotel while awaiting investigation by the authorities.
On the following day, 5 artists including Hyoyeon (Girls’ Generation), Bomi (Apink), Dita (Secret Number), Nayoung (former member of I.O.I), and radio DJ Choi Hee were released and waiting for the next move of the crew. Most of the artists have returned to South Korea, but fans are still worried about their current situation.
Recently, Hyoyeon posted a video clip of herself dancing in the hotel room instead of a formal announcement that she is currently okay after the recent incident. It can be seen that Hyoyeon’s spirit is still very cheerful and full of energy despite the awkward situation.
In the comments section, many fans also enthusiastically asked about the female idol, at the same time welcoming her back with cheers.
Earlier, a member of the crew confirmed the incident of detention to SPOTV News, saying, “We are in Bali, even the cast doesn’t know the exact reason why they were detained. It’s uncomfortable when the production team doesn’t share the circumstances leading to this situation. I think we will be able to understand what happened after the investigation is completed. We are making efforts to return to South Korea as soon as possible.”
