ARMY praised for cleaning up the venue after BTS’s 10th debut anniversary event that gathered 400,000 people 

Netizens complimented BTS fans for keeping the surroundings clean after big events.

On June 17th, an article titled “This is the place after BTS’s 10th debut anniversary event was held with around 400,000 people” was posted on an online community. 

The article’s author commented “I’m sure the place was so crowded but it is so clean now”, and attached a photo of a clean and organized place that had just been used for an event with many people gathering.

Another netizen added more photos and said, “They’re fans of that singer”.

Earlier on June 17th, the “2023 BTS 10th Anniversary Festa @ Yeouido” was held at Hangang Park in Seoul. It was estimated that around 300,000 people according to the police and up to 750,000 people according to the organizers gathered there to enjoy the Festa event.

After the event, BTS’s fans ARMY voluntarily cleaned up the surroundings. Answering an interview with the media, a street cleaner said, “We were supposed to clean the place by 12 o’clock, but there was no trash left.”

In response, Internet users commented, “I’m surprised that they cleaned up everything and there was nothing left”, “It’s completely different from the Yeouido Fireworks Festival”, “They stayed organized and clean throughout the event. This is truly the best fandom”, “I went there with my friend, and there were some ARMY friends handing out garbage bags to everyone. Seeing ARMY cleaning up the area, ordinary people also naturally joined them. I found it amazing to witness the scene with my own eyes”, “Thank you BTS. I was very touched by your mature fans”, etc.
